We focus on each child's developmental needs
rather than age. Through our on going
assessments we determine which class is the
best fit for each child. Children need to be in
the class that fits them emotionally and
cognitively. We follow a developmentally
appropriate curriculum that builds on what
children are capable of. Our curriculum is
based on the Reggio and Emergent Curriculum
style. These styles focus on the development of
the whole child. Since children learn best
through play, every part of the child's day
focuses on a learning experience.
ABOUT US
We built our center based on quality standards that would
enable us to become a nationally accredited center.
Accreditation represents the highest quality in early
education. Our classrooms were designed to ensure small
group sizes in order to provide more individualized
attention for each child. Low teacher/ child ratios and small
group sizes have proven to be the key elements in
providing the best environment for children.
Emotional development is vitally important during a
child's early years. One of the best ways to help
children stay in control of their emotions is by
creating and sticking to routines and schedules.
Routines enable children to predict coming next,
which helps them feel more secure in their
environment.
